The Ministry of Defense initiated amendments to the legislation, which provide a 12-month delay in mobilization for volunteers who worked in accordance with the “Contract 18-24”.
Earlier, after dismissal from military service, such citizens could be recorded and immediately call again.
Key points of resolution:
- The uncertainty in relation to the further status of these volunteers is eliminated after the completion of the contract.
-
Rest and, if necessary, medical/social rehabilitation is provided.
We recall that in February the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially began the project “Contract 18-24”. This is a voluntary initiative for Ukrainians at the age of 18-24 years old, who are ready to join the forces of defense within one year.
The project offers additional financial rewards, vocational training with the participation of instructors with combat experience and social guarantees.
