It was noted that the tanker was located in Greece, where experts appreciated the cause of the injury. According to a representative of the TMS tanks, the explosion led to flooding in the engine room, and the water entered the corps. The exact cause of the explosion is still unknown.

As you know, Vilamaura entered the Russian port of UST-Luga in early April, where he loaded Kazakh’s origin oil. In May, he also entered the terminal of the Caspian pipeline consortium near the Russian port of Novorossiysk, which is primarily loaded with Kazakh oil.

According to the company’s manager, environmental pollution did not occur as a result of the incident. Members of the crew were not injured.

According to the consulting company Vanguard Tech, since the beginning of the year, similar explosions have occurred with four more courts. After such incidents, the ship’s owners began to use different and underwater drones to check the trim of ships for mines and other threats.

Earlier it was reported that in the Mediterranean Sea, last month, three tanks received the injury as a result of the explosion, its causes have not been established. All three tanks, according to services that monitored the movement of the ships, entered the Russian ports before the incidents.
