Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Tanja Fayon arrived on a visit to Kyiv. He announced this on Twitter on July 27.
“I came to Kyiv. I am here to express Slovenia’s political and practical support to Ukraine and its brave people,” the diplomat wrote.
Together with the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba, Fayon visited Irpin, which suffered from the Russian occupation.
“We looked at the devastating consequences of the Russian military occupation of Irpin. The Ukrainian side expressed the desire that Slovenian municipalities help rebuild the city after the war,” said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
