The Office of the Prosecutor General reported the suspicion in absentia of a collaborator from the Donetsk region, who took the pseudo-position of “head of the department for work with the local population of the Novoazovsk city administration of the DPR.” This was announced on Wednesday, July 27, by the press service of the department.

According to the investigation, in March 2022, a resident of the village of Sartana, Mariupol district, temporarily occupied by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, voluntarily agreed to the offer of the occupiers and took the pseudo-position of “head of the department for work with the local population of the Novoazovsk city administration of the DPR.”

“The suspect’s tasks include the organization of work to persuade the population to cooperate with the work authorities and the forced evacuation of local residents to the Russian Federation,” the report said.

It was noted that in April 2022, in fact, acting as the former chairman of the settlement of the Sartan military-civilian administration, the pseudo-official took part in a “meeting” held in the village of Sartana by the leader of the fake republic ” DPR” .
