In the field of transportation, Ukraine must introduce nearly 400 regulatory actions of more than 3,000 reviews.
Ukraine completed the screening in two sections of entry negotiations with the EU – 14 “transportation” and 21 “Trans -european Transport Network”. In Brussels, 77 thematic themes were shown covering all types of transportation, security issues, corruption and ecological risks. This was reported by the Ministry of Gromad and Territory Development.
The European Commission’s report on screening results will be prepared within six weeks.
Screening is the first formal stage of the negotiation process to enter Ukraine in the European Union. The purpose of this stage is to assess the level of adaptation of Ukrainian law to EU customs and identify areas that require improvement.
Daily screening is focused on a separate type of transportation and direction, especially:
First day The team presented compliance with the right in the field of transportation on the road, including issues of the services market, tachographs, traffic preparations, environmental kindness, licensing, etc.
The second day The screening focuses on train transportation and safety. First of all, we are talking about Europe’s integration of law in the field of railroad transportation and the creation of a single railway space. The Ministry of Development team also showed the transportation directions of dangerous goods and transportation driven by passengers.
The third day The themes of Aviation Transport and Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) arrive. Among the agenda, aviation safety, air traffic control, staff training, insurance. A separate block is the implementation of the EU program “Union of Europe’s” mechanism “, in which Ukraine has joined.
The fourth day Screening concerned with sea and internal water transportation and prevents corruption. In particular, we talk about safety in water, preparation of sailors, avoiding water pollution and investigating incidents. In the context of preventing corruption, it is a question of minimizing corruption risks in the field of transportation and digital instruments that prevent corruption.
In general, as part of the screening, the Ukrainian side will hold 77 performances. Each presentation remembers a separate topic and provided for discussion with representatives of the European Commission.

Note that the EU procedure refers to 35 sections of negotiations. According to them, the European Commission first holds an official screening of compliance with Ukraine law in EU law. 33 out of 35 sections of negotiations are combined with six thematic clusters, while sections 34 institutions and 35 other issues will be considered separately, out of clusters.
