It is noted that the operatives of the police department of the Kharkiv district No. 2, together with patrol officers, detained the attacker – he was repeatedly convicted of a local resident for the commission of property crimes.
During an authorized search at the place of residence, another grenade from the detainee was removed, ”the police added.
The attacker was informed of suspicion in the framework of the first part of art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, battles or explosives) and part 4 of art. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to seven years.
