The Kharkov regional prosecutor’s office on Friday, June 27, reported suspicion of seven employees Du Kharkov Investigative Insulator for participating in the prisoner’s deadly beating.
Poltava law enforcement officials have established the involvement of seven DU Kharkov investigative distillates, including the former acting leader of the pre -trial detention center in the death of one of the prisoners. It was learned that on April 14 this year, other prisoners beat the victim, as a result of the injuries he died.
During the investigation, the evidence of the involvement of the Kharkov pre -trial detention center’s involvement was obtained. Prosecutors revealed the suspicion of former acting leader of the DU Kharkov investigative isolator and two senior operatives for excessive power or official power by a law enforcement officer (Part 3 of the art. 365, Part 3 of Art. 135 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The petition for their arrest was prepared. Four more former employees have been informed of suspicion for Official neglect (Part 3 of Article 367, Part 3 of Article 135 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The court prepares a petition to select a prevention proposal in the form of a round -arrest at home.
The pre -trial investigation continues.
Earlier it was reported that Polyava Pre -trial Detention Center employees participated in prisoner’s torture -he was kept without food, water and access to the bathroom for more than 36 hours.
