Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are “defending almost 270 degrees.” In addition to enemy territory, there are also occupied parts of Ukraine, from where the enemy is advancing, a number of countries and quasi-states that support the aggressive actions of the Russian Federation.
The peculiarity of the current phase of the war with Russia, which has been going on for five months now, is that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are on the defensive almost 270 degrees. This is what the ex-commander of the MTR Major General Grigory Galagan said in an interview with Radio Liberty.
According to the military, by the end of July 2022, more than 2 thousand kilometers of enemy territory and temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine where the offensive is being conducted and territories of supporting countries or quasi-states. the enemy.
“Special operations forces are everywhere: they manage the resistance movement, conduct information and psychological operations (IPSO, – ed.). Well, there is no way without fighting either – we call it “kinetic actions,” he said.
“Kinetic actions” Galagan calls explosions.
“After every road or bridge blown up in the occupied territories, I fell asleep more,” insisted the military.
He also noted that SOF PSSO soldiers are leading on many levels: when the enemy surrenders as a prisoner of the entire unit, when Russian mothers rally, refusing to send their children to war – it was a success.
“This is not about information or psychological operations. Sometimes it is enough to convey the truth to people who are deprived of access to other information, except for lies and propaganda that pours from the screens of Russian TVs. Our task is to destroy the enemy in any way. If we destroy, we win,” summed up Galagan.
It will be remembered that from February 24 to July 27, the total loss of personnel of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine was approximately 40,070 people.
Earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Andreevka and Lozovoe in the Kherson region from the invaders.
