US president Donald Trump is ready to go to Turkey to participate in negotiations at the end of the war in Ukraine. Turkish president Recep Tayip Erdogan, reported by TRT Global, said Thursday, June 26th.
Thus, Erdogan revealed the details of Trump’s conversation at NATO Summit in The Hague in the Netherlands.
“If Russian president Vladimir Putin is coming to Istanbul or Ankara for negotiation, I will also go to Istanbul or Ankara,” Erdogan quoted Trump’s words riding the aircraft after returning from the summit.
The Turkish leader emphasized his country’s willingness to go to decisive steps for the sake of a peaceful negotiation: “If you need to dig a well with a needle to decide, we will do it.”
Erdogan recalled negotiations with Istanbul, “opening the doors to the world” and expressed his willingness to hold the third negotiation of the negotiations.
“The final goal is to organize a meeting at the level of leaders in our country and build the long -standing world,” he said.
According to Erdogan, the war in Ukraine “could no longer withstand.”
“We say strictly: this war must end,” he summed up.
