The President of Ukraine has not yet decided if he will go to this event, but he is sure that he will make the decision “day before”.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has not yet decided if he will go to NATO Summit in The Hague. The head of the state said this at a meeting with journalists on Saturday, June 21.
“My journey is not dependent on whether there will be a meeting with Trump. First, I’m not sure I’m going,” he said, but added that this possibility was “high”.
The President added that he “solved this issue the other day.”
He added that there is already a “tripartite proposal – NATO, the EU and Ukraine.” According to him, in the field of NATO, the meetings of foreign ministers of all NATO countries including Ukraine, the ministers of the defense industry of all countries including Ukraine were separately planned.
“And there are appropriate invitations from the king and from the Prime Minister. We have a very good relationship with him. And he provides a lot of support. I think it is very important for me to invite him. I may have a significant program, including meetings. And, of course, a very important meeting with President Trump.
Remember that Ukraine president Vladimir Zelensky commented on Donald Trump’s policy regarding Russia. According to him, even now the American administration does not provide enough pressure, all US allies “require strong protection.”
