Zelensky called Kravchenko the Prosecutor General of Ukraine

    Volodymyr Zelenskyy President appointed Ruslan Kravchenko with the new general prosecutor.

    The decree on the appointment of Kravchenko by the Prosecutor General he was signed by the head of state on Saturday, June 21. The corresponding document No. 416/2025 has already been published on the president’s website.

    It is known that 35-year-old Kravchenko became the youngest prosecutor in the history of Ukraine.

    Kravchenko headed Kiev Ova before, and once he was a military prosecutor and prosecutor in the case of Viktor Yanukovych. Since the end of 2024, he headed the State Tax Service of Ukraine, and in 2023 he participated in the competition for the post of chairman of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

    We recall that on June 16, Zelensky presented to Verkhovna Radov an idea of ​​the appointment of Kravchenko to the post of general prosecutor. And on June 17, the parliament with the votes of 273 deputies agreed with this candidate. Only European solidarity and voice voted against.
