The security service has documented that Russia has begun an active phase of preparing a pseudo-referendum on the illegal “incorporation” of the temporarily occupied territories of the eastern part of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

“Before, it operated only in the territory of the DPR terrorist organization, but now its geography has been expanded. Accordingly, the enemy plans to change its name. The most likely option that the invaders will choose is Great Russia, ” the SBU said in a statement.
It is reported that, according to the SBU, more than 1,000 activists are already active in this formation, which daily meets with the population of the temporarily occupied territories. Among them are agitators, bloggers and “vigilantes” who collaborate with the occupiers.
“In fact, they are recruiting people, urging them to join the organization. They have already reached more than 200,000 local people. The Kremlin curators plan to use controlled media sources to reach more than 50 million viewers from Russia and eastern Ukraine with their propaganda about fake events. In addition, the occupiers are planning to move more than 1,000 Russian “experts” and “volunteers” to the region to shake up the internal situation in their favor,” the press service of the SBU reports.
According to the SBU, they should organize illegal mass meetings, spread campaigning in support of a pseudo-referendum, and equip “electoral commissions”.
“In the future, they plan to prepare an appeal allegedly from local residents to the leadership of the occupation administration on the “annexation” of Donbass to Russia. The SBU already has some documents intercepted. and propaganda newspapers. Now they are on -printed on the territory of the DPR with a circulation of more than 250,000 copies,” the SBU notes.
In addition, it is reported that in order to spread separatist ideas, the enemy plans to create a wide network of so-called “activists” in the regions of Kherson, Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk.
