“The president expressed his gratitude to the auxiliary of the UN World Food Program. Within 2022-2024, its total cost was worth $ 2.2 billion, another $ 767 million was scheduled for this year,” the report said.
During the meeting, it was about the additional support of Ukrainian schools: repairing shelters, help with food financing for students in grade 5-11 and providing buses to school.
Zelensky and McCain also discussed the importance of continuing the human grain program from Ukraine, with more than 20 countries. It is very important for the states of Africa, in the Middle East, generally for the global south and worldwide. Despite the war, Ukraine remains a guarantee of global food security and is ready to do so.
