Usually, Ukrainians imported used fuel cars in the country. New and electric cars are in the minority.
This year, more than 181 thousand cars were brought to Ukraine, with almost 80% with a mileage. Regarding this on Thursday, June 19, the Ukravtropr announced that there was a reference to the State -owned Committee data.
It is noted that new cars cost about half of the total import cost – $ 1.2 billion from $ 2.57 billion total dollars. Thus, the used cars provided 16 billion hryvnias to the state budget of customs payments, and new ones for 10.7 billion hryvnias.
The most popular are fuel cars: their part is 48.5% of all that is imported.

At the same time, electric cars brought the budget a relatively moderately 333 million UAH of custom payments.
Fuel cars import taxes cost more than 13 billion UAH, diesel – 7.7 billion UAH, and hybrids – 5.5 billion UAH.
Earlier it was reported that the average age of used cars that moved to Ukrainian registration was 9.5 years.
