In Argentina, a group of Russian detectives were detained, who conducted reconnaissance operations and engaged in disinformation activities. La Derecha Diario reported it.
The intelligence announced a foreign operation conducted by a group of Russian citizens in collaboration with the Argentines. People are associated with the geopolitical interests of the Kremlin and engage in disinformation activities and manipulation of public opinion.
It is noted that team members have created and distribute content on social networks, and have also tried to influence the work of local public organizations, funds and non -governmental non -bagovernmental structures.
According to special services, Russian Lev Andriashvili, who lives in Argentina, and his wife, citizen of the Russian Federation Irina Yakoveneko, is involved in this procedure. They received money from Moscow, the network was financially and contacted local activists.
Investigators Andriashvili and Yakoveko have found that the La Compañía organization is involved. This organization is associated with the late PMC Wagner Evgeny Prigozhin and the So -called “Lakhta Project”, known for global disinformation campaigns. The purpose of La Compañía is to form a group of people dedicated to Russia’s interest.
