The bill on the reform of the agency for the search and management of assets was approved by Verkhovna Rada.
On Wednesday, June 18, the parliament approved the bill No. 12374-D to strengthen the institutional potential of ARMA. 253 parliamentarians voted for the document. The document presents new requirements for the head of the agency, the selection will be carried out with the participation of international experts. Deputies of people Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Irina Gerashenko were registered on a telegram.
It is noted that lawmakers proposed allowing assets to owners or legal users without interfering in the investigation. ARMA was also allowed to transfer assets, the value of which exceeds a certain threshold, and the leadership has economic meaning.
In addition, the law was proposed:
- Selling assets that have lost their value greatly and irreversibly;
- involve arbitration managers and private executors in the asset management;
- Imagine an automatic system to choose an asset dispatcher.
- improve control over how assets control;
- Ensure the financial stability of ARMA by creating a specialized fund and determining the sources of filling;
- Imagine the transparent choice of the chairman of the agency.
We recall that on June 18, Verkhovna Rada with 243 votes on people voted in general for the bill No. 11469 to ensure the exercise of the right to acquire and preserve citizenship of Ukraine.
