The bus with the Ukrainians, which on Friday, June 13, became an accident in France, leading children to return from an education exchange from the French Lyceum to Brittany. Going to Paris, the bus lost control and moved to a gutter. President Vladimir Zelensky said this.
Currently, four dead adults are known, three of them are citizens of Ukraine. Two other people are in serious condition, French doctors are fighting for their lives. The rest of the children received medium and lightweight injuries, all of which were given the necessary help.
Zelensky noted that the team of Ukrainian diplomats and consul -led by the Ukrainian ambassador to France was immediately sent to the scene of the incident. They will keep contact with the families of the victims, as well as the representatives of the French authorities and services at the scene.
At the same time, foreign minister Andrei Samiba and the Minister of Internal Law Igor Klimenko regularly inform the victims and the condition of the tragedy.
Zelensky thanked France for the fact that more than 50 emergency brigades were involved in delivering victims of children to hospitals. The office of French President Emmanuel Macron maintains control over the situation.
The head of the state expressed gratitude to all the families of the victims.
