In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a local resident received 15 years in prison, who committed sexual violence against children – at the time of crime, girls were 7 and 8 years old. This was reported by the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, in 2023 the man lived with his grandson and his 7-year-old daughter. When the mother is not home, a resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region has repeatedly raped a girl.
Convict has also taken sexual action against the girl’s 8-year-old boyfriend. The child immediately told parents to call the police about it.
At the time of crime, the man was 74 years old. Now he is 77.
He was found guilty of rape and committed sexual violence against children. The defendant was jailed before the sentence enters the legal force. Information about this is introduced into a single register of people convicted of crimes against the sexual freedom and sexual integrity of minors.
At the hearing, the attack did not admit his guilt.
