Another 32% perceive the United States as a reliable ally who wants a peaceful world for Ukraine. European support is convinced of 64% of people against 24%.
Last year, more than half (54%) were optimistic against Donald Trump’s presidency. However, in March, the majority (73%) shared the opinion that his elections were a bad scenario for Ukraine.
However, 90% of respondents belong to ordinary Americans, and only 3% are bad. US authorities negatively treat 68% of respondents, positively 24%.
According to Politico, the PEW research center was held in 24 countries – the results showed a decrease in the popularity of the United States abroad after Trump returned to the White House. An exception in Europe is Hungarians, most of which trust Trump.
Kiis conducted a survey on a telephone interview based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers (with a random generation of telephone numbers and further statistical weighing) in all regions of Ukraine (the territory of Ukraine controlled by the government), 2000 4 respondents (questions about EU / USA perception, the survey lived in Ukraine, which was controlled by the Ukrainian government.
The sample did not include residents of territories that are not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities (at the same time some respondents – IDS who moved from the occupied territories), and the examination was not carried out with citizens who went abroad after February 24, 2022.
Formally, in normal circumstances, the statistical error of 1000 respondents (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect 1.3) does not exceed 4.1%. A sampling error of about 500 respondents does not exceed 5.8%.
