Investigators found out if the baby’s death was associated with his parents’ neglect – the family was under the supervision of social services.
In the Bellyaevsky community of the Odessa region, a two -month boy died. In the reality of death, police opened two criminal proceedings – under a murder article with the “natural death” note. This was reported by police of the Odessa region on Thursday, June 12.
The family is registered with social services.
“Received a message of death in the area of a two-month-old boy, the investigative-operational group of the Odessa District Police Department No. 2 left for this area. In the past, law enforcement officials found that the baby had no signs of life,” the report said.
Investigators sent the boy’s body to a forensic examination. In the past, the death of the child had occurred due to pneumonia.
Two more children of four and seven years live with a woman.
Currently, information on the reality of a child’s death is entered into a pre -a -pre -trial investigation register on the basis of deliberate murder with “natural death” under paragraph 2 of part 2 of art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the malicious not writing obligations to protect the child of Article 166 of the UKU.
Investigators, along with Juvenile police, have established all the conditions of the tragedy.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
