The US Minister of Finance said that after 20 years the Ukrainian economy, thanks to effective management and global investment, could be more than the Russian economy.
Finance minister Scott Immentin said the Ukrainian economy for 20 years could be preceded in Russian. This is possible under many conditions. He said this at a hearing in Congress.
Immentine emphasized that every country’s economic security is national security. At the same time, according to the minister, he and US president Donald Trump believe that “a stable Ukrainian economy in the long run will be the best protection.”
The United States Minister of Finance Minister recalled that when the Berlin Wall, the economy of Poland and Ukraine, was the same. But now Poland’s economy is three times greater.
“I believe that in the twenty years the Ukrainian economy, thanks to the effective management similar to collaboration (between Ukraine and the USA – Ed.) And global investment, could be more than the Russian economy. And I think this would be a very strong factor of restraint for Russian rules,” he added.
Immentine also noted that a major Ukraine restoration conference was held in Rome. And the United States urges the World Bank to focus on it.
He clarified that not a single country that assisted the Russian military engine with money, troops, weapons equipment would receive the right to participate in the restoration of Ukraine.
