Verkhovna RADA included bill No. 13346 on amendments to the Law “On Military Service and Military Service”, in which it is proposed to transfer part of SBU, GUR and SCR to the armed forces.
According to the draft, she was introduced into the parliament on June 4.
The bill stipulates that SBU, SZR and GUR military, who accepted military service or contract service, and when transferring into the Armed Forces, refused to conclude a contract, they will continue to serve in the armed forces as a mobilized period.
The military correspondent of Andriy Tsaplienko in his telegram notes that such a program was supposed to take place in the spring of 2024 in connection with the adoption of the then “Law on Mobilization” No. 3633-IX:
This law created the opportunity for SBU and intelligence institutions to transfer some of their military personnel to the Armed Forces and other military formations. But the scheme was not a job. For example, SBU military personnel who worked under a contract refused to sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense. The situation should be corrected by Law No. 13346.
The bill also proposes to remove the norm for returning to military service within three days with the extension of the contract, salaries and benefits of military personnel who committed a crime (HSC or desertion) and were released by the court from criminal liability.
