The State Service of Ukraine in Ethno -Policy and Freedom of Conscience approved the “List of legal entities – religious organizations that are crucial for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the life of the population in a special period.”
The corresponding order was released on the official website of Desx. The press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethno -Policy and Freedom of Conscience reports this.
The list included legal organizations-religious organizations that were checked for compliance with the criteria approved by order of Decess on February 5, 2025 No. H-21/11 and registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on February 19, 2025 (No. 263/43669). These criteria entered into force on March 20, 2025 after publication in the official newspaper.
She collaborated with government agencies to conduct an identity certificate. In particular, cooperation with SE “National Information Systems” (Nais) was created to obtain a comprehensive list of religious organizations – legal organizations.
As a result, they created a final list of 7726 religious organizations.
To conduct reservation through “actions”, religious organizations must provide DEX:
- Confirmation of the employment of the clergy;
- Confirmation of the status of a clergyman in accordance with the internal leading principles of a religious organization;
- Picture of personnel of a religious organization (maximum number of clergy).
In addition, religious organizations included in the list will have to fill out information about the personal data of candidates for reservation, in particular, their passport data and identification code (if any) in accordance with the form established by the Ministry of Defense, and provide it with PES.
The procedure for presenting this information will be explained on the official website of Desx.
More than 7,000 religious organizations will have the right to register reservation for the period of mobilization and martial law. In order for the priests to receive reservations, they need to have official work in order to be in military registration in the Tax Code and SP, as well as confirm the status of a clergyman in accordance with the internal leading principles of a religious organization.
