In Nikolaev, the court sent an 18-year-old resident of the region of Kyiv, was suspected of trying to make a terrorist attack near the local shopping center (Military Administration).
The young man agreed with the proposal of an unidentified person to commit terrorist acts, including in the southern regions of Ukraine, for monetary rewards.
After that, he arrived from the Kyiv region to Kherson and Nikolaev, where he took home explosive devices in predetermined places. On the same day, he was in the center of Nikolaev, photographed buildings and received instructions on the phone from his curator.
Then he installed a device for remote surveillance opposite the building of the district center of the territorial assembly (military -affected management), located in the densely populated part of the city. Then the guy left bags with explosive devices on the porch of the building.
Later, calls were received on both devices that were supposed to activate the explosion, but for technical reasons, detonation did not occur. On the same day the suspect was detained.
