The defenders of Maripul, who were captured for more than three years, were among the defenders of Ukraine, who were released from Russian captivity during a new exchange of prisoners today, June 9.
This was reported in the Telegram channel of coordination personnel for prisoner of war management (KSPPV).
The first group of liberated military personnel under the age of 25 is returning home, ”said KSPPV.
There are also representatives among the liberated today:
- Naval;
- Land forces;
- TRO forces;
- Air Force;
- Landing troops;
- Border service;
- National Guard;
- State Special Transport Service.
All released – representatives of the usual and sergeant – are added to KSPPV.
It is noted that this is only the first part of a large large -scale exchange, which will last within the framework of the agreements reached.
This exchange applies to certain categories of prisoners of war, in particular at the age of 25 years, seriously wounded and seriously ill. Work on the repatriation of the bodies of victims during the protection of the homeland of the Ukrainian military continues, ”said KSPPV.
KSPPP emphasized that the returned defenders of Ukraine will be provided with everything necessary: they will be restored, they will pay the proper money for the entire time in captivity and one -help. They will also conduct a course of medical rehabilitation.
The 66th exchange of prisoners continues. For the reasons for the operation, the final figures of the released will be published after the completion of the exchange process, ”KSPPV notes. – Ukraine is consistently working on the implementation of the “all” exchange formula in all categories.
