President Vladimir Zelensky said Ukraine still expects a response from the United States to a proposal to buy air defense systems. Zelensky said this in the evening night on Saturday, June 7.
“We work to increase air defense in Ukrainian. Positive signals from the United States of America are required – specific air defense signals. We are still waiting for a response to a proposal to buy systems that will help. Specific signals, not words,” Zelensky said.
At the same time, the head of the state thanked European countries for delivery.
“We must achieve results in joint manufacture of air defense systems, making missiles with them – it is definitely necessary for our entire Europe,” the President emphasized.
In his conviction, only time separates this result, “and most importantly, this time is reduced.”
