According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than three million citizens are registered in the military away from where they live.
In Ukraine, curfew violators are taken “in a pencil” for the recruitment centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was said by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin, reports Telegraf.
Yenin noted that the police established close cooperation with the recruitment centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We accept those who violate the curfew. This does not mean that they will be removed from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tomorrow. But when the question arises, this is the category of people that the military commissars will look at in the first place,” he says.
He added that he sees nothing wrong with issuing subpoenas at roadblocks and streets.
“We have to decide: do we want to liberate our territories as soon as possible or will we rely on volunteers? Many of my friends and acquaintances are fighting at the front. Some of them died, some were wounded. Despite the fact that a significant part of these people can avoid the war, because they are not in the first line of mobilization. And some actively spend time on the beaches or parties. All this is unfair, Yenin said.
Recall that earlier law enforcement officials exposed in the Odessa region another illegal scheme for the removal of men of military age abroad.
