Earlier, the Rada adopted a law on changes to the state budget for 2022, in which it increased total spending from the state budget by UAH 80.9 billion for various social needs.

The bill was sponsored by Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, his deputies Oleksandr Kornienko and Olena Kondratiuk, head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia and a number of other deputies.
UPDATED July 24th. Taras Pastushenko, Head of the Information Department of the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, told Rakurs that according to the adopted Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2022” dated July 9, additional funds are neither from the State Budget-2022, nor for no account was allocated for the assistance of international partners to pay people’s deputies.
This law provided for the redistribution of funds within the cost estimate for ensuring the activities of the Parliament for 2022.
Actually adopted on July 19 of this year. The Decree “On the financial support of the activities of people’s deputies of Ukraine” established the procedure for using the redistributed funds. The implementation of this Decree will not require additional financial and material expenses from the State Budget of Ukraine, the press service of the Council said in a statement.
