If the exchange of war inmates takes place, the work will begin to prepare the exchange of the dead bodies.
This week, Ukraine and Russia can exchange war inmates in the “500 of 500” format. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in a briefing on Wednesday, March 4.
“Russia’s side has sent information this weekend that he will transfer 500 people on weekends, 500 of our military from this thousand plus, which we have agreed to. That is, we are ready to exchange with our part, ready to change the corresponding amount,” he said.
At the same time, Zelensky noted that the Russians had not yet given lists.
“At this time, unlike Istanbul’s past, the Russians gave the floor to give lists in advance, which we change, important for us. We never received lists again, there are several reasons again,” said the President.
If the exchange of war inmates takes place, then the work of the dead bodies will begin to prepare, Zelensky added.
Remember, on June 2, negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and Russia took place in Istanbul. According to the assembly results, the parties reached an agreement with the next exchange of some military categories, Kyiv also provided a list of several hundred Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.
In this regard, the Russians moved their vital “memorandum” and said they offered Kyiv a temporary stop in some sections of the front.
