Ukraine will receive great military assistance from the UK.
The British government announced its intention to put 100,000 drones in Ukraine by April 2026. This is 10 times more than before, and is part of the KYIV support strategy in the fight against Russian aggression. This was reported by Reuters.
The reference package will include drones totaling 350 million pounds. This package is part of the total amount of 4.5 billion pounds.
According to the Minister of Defense of Great Britain John Gili, London increases the support of Ukraine, providing hundreds of thousands of additional drones this year and completing the key scene in the supply of artillery ammunition. “It is expected that Gili will present these plans at the Ramshtein meeting on June 4 in Brussels.
The British government also approved an independent “strategic defense”, which provides for the creation of a more deadly and technologically equipped army to counteract new threats, in particular, from the Russian Federation.
It should be recalled that at the end of May it became known that the state parties in the coalition of drones, which was created on the initiative of the UK and Latvia, promised to allocate at least 2.75 billion euros to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of 2025.
