The new consciousness president of Poland Karol Navrotsky has expressed hope for the continuation of a close cooperation with Ukraine. He said this on the X platform on Tuesday, June 3.

“I look forward to continuing the cooperation of our countries, based on respect and understanding of one another. I believe it requires not only a good dialogue, but also solutions of urgent historical issues,” Navrotsky said in response to the greetings of Ukrainian state head of Vladimir Zelensky.
Separately, he mentioned the role of Warsaw as one of Kyiv’s most confessing allies in the confrontation of Russian invasion.
“Poland is the most decisive supporter of Ukraine against the Russian invasion, because no other country understands this threat deeply,” added the newly designated president.
Summing up, Navrotsky said he expects further joint work to strengthen bilateral relationships.
“I hope that we will work together for the sake of the common good, to resolve the unresolved past and to build a safe future,” he added.

According to the National Election Commission, after counting 100% of the vote, Navrotsky got 50.89% of the vote, and Rafal Tshaskovsky – 49.11%.
Later, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky greeted Karol Navrotsky for election victory.
