The court arrested the additional assets of people’s deputy Viktor Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko, the SBU reports.

The arrest was imposed on the following assets:
- corporate rights of an LLC with an authorized capital of UAH 38 million;
- bank accounts for UAH 1.3 million;
- two land plots with an area of 3 and 5 hectares;
- premises of two hotel complexes with an area of 4.5 thousand and 2.4 thousand square meters. m.
The investigation established that these assets (including hotels in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian regions) were managed from the territory of Russia.
Medvedchuk is suspected of high treason, two proceedings have been opened against him. After escaping from house arrest, Medvedchuk was detained in April and arrested. Then, for the first time, part of the property was arrested at Putin’s godfather.
In June, the Lviv Court arrested 279 paintings and a railway dining car with furniture, interior items and utensils.
