The head of state summarized the results of the 150th day of the war. He emphasized that Ukraine is getting closer to victory over Russia.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are gradually liberating the Kherson region from the Russian invaders. This was announced on Saturday, July 23, by President Volodymyr Zelensky in a traditional video message.
The head of state noted that the 150th day of the war was like all other days of aggression: Russian missile strikes, heavy fighting in the south and east of the country, deadly shelling. However, he insisted, it is clear how close Ukraine is to victory.
“First of all, we can now talk about the Kherson region. The invaders tried to gain a hold there, their collaborators made various meaningless statements, which in Russian are called very appropriate word “hat capping” … But how did it help them? The Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing step by step region,” said the president.
At the same time, Zelensky commented on the enemy’s attack on the port of Odessa. He said that “this apparent Russian barbarism brings us closer to obtaining the exact weapons we need for our victory.”
As reported earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Daryevsky bridge across the Ingulets River in the Kherson region as part of an operation to cut off the Kherson group of Russians from supplies.
