Ukraine called on the UN and Turkey to ensure Russia’s compliance with its obligations to secure the “grain corridor”.
The strike at the port of Odessa was a slap in the face of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, UN Secretary General António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It took the Russian Federation less than a day to violate the “grain corridor” agreements. This was stated by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.
“It took the Russian Federation less than 24 hours to cast doubt on the agreements and commitments it made to the UN and Turkey in the document signed yesterday in Istanbul with a missile attack on the territory of the port of Odessa,” he said.
According to Nikolaenko, Ukraine insists on the need to strictly implement the agreements on the restoration of the safe export of Ukrainian agricultural products through the Black Sea from three ports: Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny.
Ukraine also called on the UN and Turkey to ensure Russia’s compliance with its obligations.
Recall that on the morning of July 23, Russia attacked the port of Odessa.
Yesterday in Istanbul an agreement was signed on the export of grain from Ukraine along the Black Sea through the ports of Odessa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny.
