Blinken emphasized the United States’ continued commitment to humanitarian support and assistance in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
The United States intends to provide Ukraine with humanitarian support and help it recover from the war. This was announced on Friday, July 22, on the official website of the US State Department.
In particular, Anthony Blinken announced support for Ukraine in a conversation with the head of the Ukrainian diplomatic department, Dmitry Kuleba.
“The Secretary of State expressed his gratitude for the visit of Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska to Washington this week. He noted that her visit provided an important opportunity to learn about the human cost of Russia’s war, as well as to highlight the United States’ continued dedication to humanitarian support and assistance in the reconstruction of Ukraine,” noted the US State Department.
Anthony Blinken condemned the atrocities committed by the Russian occupiers and stressed that the United States remains focused on holding Russia accountable.
He also added that the United States will provide Ukraine with a new batch of military aid to protect against Russian aggression.
Let us remind you, the American parliament asks the government to recognize Russia as a state-sponsor of terrorism.
Earlier it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada supported the appeal to the House of Representatives and Senate of the US Congress to recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism.
