    People’s Deputy Ukraine Sergey Schvets died.

    The parliamentarian died at the age of 48, he fought for a long time with a serious illness. David Arahamia reported this to the head of the parliamentary faction “Servant of People” on May 28 on social networks.

    Sergiy Schvets went his professional path – from journalism to work in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. We will remember his honest, decent, fundamental person, ”wrote Arahamia.

    Sergey Shvets was born in 1976 in Cherkazi. He began his career as a journalist. He was a special correspondent and host of the television channels “1+1”, “STB” and “ICTV”.

    In the parliamentary elections in 2019, Schvets was elected People’s Deputy Ukraine from the Party “Servant of People”. In the Council, he was the secretary of the Committee on Freedom of Word.

    We recall that on April 21, Deputy People’s Vladimir Moros died. In 2019, he was elected People’s Deputy of PPZZ, but after the ban on this political force in 2022, he transferred to the recently created group “Restoration of Ukraine”.
