The network distributed a presented video of the alleged Ukrainian soldier talking about “a very difficult situation across the direction” and “mass cases of suicide to those in the battle.” It was reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council on Wednesday, May 28th.

It was noted that the video was created by propagandists to discredit Ukraine’s armed forces. There are no weapons, chevron, tokens or any other elements in the frame that can confirm the ownership of actors in the armed forces of Ukraine.

“There are no identity characteristics in the bodies of people who are said to have committed suicide. It is impossible to determine the shooting area through the video. The purpose of such stuffing is – the creation of the illusion of chaos in the Ukrainian army and demoralization of Ukrainians,” the CPD said.

Russia’s systematic propaganda systematically produces such videos, which often uses artificial intelligence.

“For example, recently, a fake video of the alleged Ukrainian soldier was distributed to Tiktok, who said he was left without strengthening and weapons, and complained about an incompetent command,” the center said.
