Since 2026, Bulgaria can join Eurozone – a group of states where the main currency is the euro – after a positive decision of the EU bodies. It was reported by American publication that Politico had a reference to some with -the interlocutors.
The European Commission and the European Central Bank in early June could approve Bulgaria’s entry into the eurozone.
The entry of Bulgaria into the eurozone will help the country strengthen trade with other European Union countries, reduce transaction costs and strengthen its influence on Brussels.
