In Riga, they said the next and a half thousand drone was sent to the front. Social network users express unpleasantness in the amount of help.
Latvia gave Ukraine the next batch of shock UAV within the framework of the international “drone coalition”. 1,500 drone was delivered. On Monday, May 26, the Latvia Andris Andris Spruds minister said on his social network KH page.
“We continue to support Ukraine: Another 1,500 battle drones are leaving from Latvia to the front. In general, two Latvian companies will put up to 12 thousand drones in the first half of this year,” Spruds said.
Meanwhile, users in the comments criticize the minister for a small amount of help:
- The volume makes you feel sad … 12 thousand drones in six months? Are we really helpless?
- About 15 thousand drones last day. How did we get to the coalition generals of the drone?
- It is a shame to be proud of the normal defense minister by the fact that within six months he has delivered reserves to the advanced necessary for a -day use!
This is not the first delivery of equipment from Riga as part of the Drones Coalition initiative. On April 1, Latvia officially moved the Ukrainian military a similar party of battle drones. After that there is a party of 1,500 UAV at the end of April.
Remember that the Cabinet of Latvia ministers has approved an investment of 10 million euros in the Ukrainian drones industry. This will contribute to cooperation between the defense sectors of both countries and the implementation of joint projects.
