Sweden will allocate 4.8 billion Swedish crowns (which is equivalent to more than 504 million dollars) to strengthen the protection of Ukraine.

It is noted that on May 22, the Swedish government instructed the country’s armed forces to provide economic assistance to multilateral means and initiatives aimed at strengthening the protection of Ukraine. These funds are part of the 19th support package represented by the Swedish government on March 31, and approved by parliament on April 29.
These payments will make the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the defense industry stronger in defense from Russia, ”said the Minister of Defense of Sweden Paul Johnson.
It is noted that the international community has created a number of means and initiatives to buy logistics and equipment to strengthen the protection of Ukraine. Sweden provides support to some of them. Yes, the government decided to make donations in the following areas:
- The coalition of the decrease is 100 million Swedish crowns. A donation in Sweden will contribute to the financing of the purchase of equipment for softening, including mining sensors, vehicles and personal protective equipment;

- Support for Czech (another 550 million Swedish crowns for previously allocated) and Estonian (more than 546 million Swedish crowns) ammunition initiatives for Ukraine;
- More than a billion Swedish crowns are aimed at multilateral purchases for the armed forces of air defense and drones over long distances.
