Yesterday there were cannes without light, and now there is a huge power output to Nice.
In the French Riviera region, for the second time in two days, electricity is turned off – this time at Nice, the BBC reports.
The blackout caused a fire to a substation, which, according to authorities, was caused by a malicious gesture.
The fire exploded on May 25 at about 02:00 local hours, after the day before a similar shutdown in Cannes. Currently, the connection between these two incidents has not been established.
Nice Police reports that “tire traces” were found, and the doors of the western city substation were “-hack”. Nice Airport, a tram network and neighboring Saint-Loran-Du-Var cities and Kan-Sure-Sur-Mer has been disconnected from the power supply. About 45 thousand people were left without electricity. In the morning, the power supply was restored.

In Spain, the cyber attack version is considered one of the possible causes of large -scale power outage.
