Another 307 Ukrainian defenders returned home from Russia’s captivity. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.
“Today is the second day of exchange in 1000 format by 1000, managed to come up with Turkey. In these two days 697 people are back. Tomorrow we are waiting for continuation,” the head of the state wrote.
According to him, apart from today’s return, “the fighters of our army, the State Border Service, the National Guard of Ukraine.”
The Ukraine president thanked that “all involved in the exchange process, working around the clock.”
“Our goal is to restore everything and each other to Russia’s captivity. We continue our contact with the partners to make it possible,” Zelensky said.
Remember that US president Donald Trump said Ukraine and Russia had a “big” exchange of prisoners. He expressed this opinion that could lead to “something big.”
