The United States will focus on foreign policy in areas consistent with national interest.

The United States of America no longer “solve all the problems in the world” and should put the national interests of Americans. State Secretary Marco Rubio expressed this at a hearing on the House of US Representative’s Committee on Foreign Affairs on May 21.

According to him, he considers his main purpose in the state’s secretary post as a return to the American foreign policy in delivering the national interest.

“There are many big things in the world. There are many terrible things happening on the planet. America cannot solve each of the problems. We must focus our foreign policy in areas that match our national interests,” Rubio said.

The State Secretary noted that the United States still provides the most help to foreign, more than ten countries combined. Rubio said the states should cancel those programs that do not match the interests of the American country.

“Foreign aid is not charity. It was created for the US national interest,” the State Secretary emphasized.

Remember that Rubio said the United States was not separate from the world, and also refused to call Russia’s dictator Vladimir Putin a criminal war.
