Counterintelligence SBU revealed another attempt to access secret Ukrainian development in the army.
In the Odessa region, the reconnaissance service detained a 47-year-old local engineer who spied on FSB. The agent was supposed to receive secret documentation for the production of components for the latest auto -aditching of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To do this, he settled at the local factory, which performs defense. This was announced on May 21 by the press center SBU.
It was stated that law enforcement officers documented every step of a person when he exposed him at the FSB hiring stage. From the first day at work, Crete tried to access drawings and technological schemes for the production of spare parts for wheeled machines. To do this, he was covered with his professional duties of the engineer, and also tried to “rubbish” as soon as possible in trust in colleagues who were directly involved in production.
The attacker also corrected Russian shelling, he went around the region and tried to find the combat positions of the air defense and radar stations in the clothing region.
The attacker was already detained and removed the evidence of the enemy. The agent was informed of suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 111 (state betrayal committed in conditions of martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The attacker is in custody, and he is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
We recall that in the region of Poltava SBU detained an agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which gathered the coordinates of military hospitals and other medical institutions, where Ukrainian soldiers were rehabilitated anywhere.
