The military counterintelligence of the Security Service detained another secondary agent of Russian special services in Harkiva, which spied on the places of defense forces in the regions of Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk.
According to the case, a 17-year-old resident of Lozov, who was hired by invaders through a telegram, was participated. Hostile special services included a teenager in criminal activity in exchange for a promise of “easy money”.
To fulfill the hostile task, the young man “toured” by buses in the eastern regions and recorded military facilities on a telephone chamber.
For example, during one of the intelligence, he shot a military column that went to the front.
The agent also used the legend to find the nearest postal department when he investigated the area near the Ukrainian troops.
Upon returning home, the agent summarized the collected data and prepared a “report” to the Russian curator.
According to the Security Service, in the case of receiving information about the agent, the enemy planned to use them to prepare new blows in the regions.
SBU military counterintelligence identified the involved person, documented his crimes and detained the place of residence.
During the search, the detainee shot the phone with the evidence of the enemy. Based on the evidence collected, SBU investigators reported suspicion. The attacker is in custody. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
