Ukraine returned the bodies of 909 Fallen Defenders.
The Ukrainian authorities held another repatriation event and returned the bodies of the soldiers, fought on Kurahiv, Pokrovsky, Bakhmut, vugledarsky, Lugansk, Zaporizhia, Sumy and Kharkiv. It was also possible to return the bodies from Morgea in Russia. The coordination headquarters about the protection of prisoners pursuing on May 16 reported on Telegram.
It is noted that law enforcement investigators, together with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will be created as soon as possible.
The coordination headquarters expressed gratitude for the help of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
We recall that on April 18, according to the results of repatriation measures, 909 Fallen Defenders were returned to Ukraine. The dead fought in eight directions of the front. The bodies were also returned from Morgea in the Russian Federation.
