Türkiye has issued a schedule for meetings with delegations of the United States, the Russian Federation and Ukraine in Istanbul.
The Ukrainian and Russian delegation will meet today, May 16. Negotiations are planned in the Palace of Dolmbach. The negotiation schedule was published by the Turkish publication Anadol.
It is noted that at 10.45 a tripartite meeting of Turkey will be held – the USA – Ukraine. And at 12.30 negotiations with the participation of Turkey, Ukraine and the Russian Federation will begin.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian media reported that the meeting with the participation of representatives of Ukraine, the USA, France, Germany and Great Britain was already held in Istanbul. Presidential Head of Andria Jermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga and the Minister of Defense Raising Umarov met with consultants on national security in France, Germany and Great Britain, as well as with the special representative of the United States Kelleg.
The day before, the President of Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the composition of the delegation for peace negotiations in Turkey. The list includes 12 people, and the delegation will be headed by the Minister of Defense Raid the Umers.
And the Russian delegation on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, his assistant Vladimir Medinski – he negotiated with the Ukrainian side three years ago in Istanbul.
We recall that The Wall Street Journal said that in the negotiations in Turkey on May 15, Ukraine will demand a 30-day ceasefire.
