In France, lightning struck the zoo: 13 people were injured

In the Bush-Du-Ron department in south of France, more than a dozen people were injured at the local zoo. Le Figaro reported this on Wednesday, May 14th.

It was noted that after a lightning strike in a flat and open area, 13 people were injured, including four children.

Among the victims was a German citizen. In addition, two people were directly struck by lightning.

Not a single animal and zoo infrastructure during the incident was injured.
