On May 14, Verkhovna Rada representatives supported the appeal of the posthumous provision of Ukraine’s hero’s title to journalist Victoria Roshchina. This is stated on the BP website.
It is mentioned that Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk has offered to vote on the preliminary support of the Ukraine’s President’s request to the Ukraine President of the Ukraine’s hero, journalist Victoria Roshchina (posthumous). The proposal was supported by 247 human representatives.
Remember that Victoria Roshchin disappeared in August 2023 on a territory occupied by Russia. In April 2024, Russia for the first time confirmed that it was illegal to hold it. On October 10, Roshchin was found dead in captivity. According to official information from Russian authorities, this happened in the process of transfer from Taganrog to Moscow.
After a long restriction, Russia’s side was given to Ukraine the body of the deceased without some internal organs, and in the documents it was indicated as an “anonymous man of the man.” Roshchina has no apples in the eye, the brain and part of the larynx.
