This was reported by the Russian agency RIA Novosti.
The meeting of sailors in the House of Officers and the reception with the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia were also canceled. The reasons for the cancellation of the parade are not reported.
Russian media note that information about the possibility of abolishing the parade appeared a month and a half ago and associate this with the war against Ukraine.
In other words, sailors in 2022 are not up to the parade and not to imitations of a naval battle, the Russian media note.
Recall, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the defenders of Ukraine have already destroyed 15 Russian ships and boats.
